Every Monday, my heart beats a little stronger.
It is no longer just the beginning of another week to get through.
It is the day I look forward to,
because I know that something inside me is changing.
I go to Moltivolti,
a place that once seemed so far away,
but has now become my point of reference,
a place where I feel at home,
where every step brings me closer to my new life.
When I arrive, I see the faces of the participants,
young and not so young,
all different, yet all connected by something they share.
They smile, even after a long day at school.
Their eyes tell stories of hardship,
but also of a hope that never fades.
Jana, Asli, Malick… they are more than friends.
They are my companions on this journey through the city.
With them, every Monday becomes a little adventure,
a discovery of ourselves and of one another.
Every word we exchange,
every spontaneous laugh,
is a small miracle that makes the day special.
And then there is Robi,
with her unique energy,
turning every day into a story.
Her stories, always full of life,
make me see the world through different eyes.
Every time I hear her speak,
I understand how important those little moments are—
the ones that seem insignificant,
but are actually the very substance of life.
Sometimes I stop and think
about how difficult it was to find my place here,
in a city that at first felt unfamiliar.
And yet, every Monday, with them,
I feel life becoming a little lighter.
They have taught me that beauty
can be found in the small moments, in everyday gestures.
This is not just a workshop.
It is a way of life that grows from meeting one another,
from the desire to understand and grow together.
I am no longer just the facilitator.
I am one of them,
someone who shares the weight of words,
and the weight of a life that, step by step,
becomes lighter.
Every Monday is a revelation,
a day I never used to look forward to,
but that now welcomes my soul with peace.
Every face I meet,
every smile I see,
is like a sign telling me:
“There is a place for you here.”
And as the day comes to an end,
as the faces slowly disappear,
I feel that, despite everything,
I have found my place in this city—
a little corner where I can be myself,
where I can be part of something that is growing,
every Monday, one step at a time.
