Moltivolti was founded on April 24, 2014, from the meeting of a group of people from different countries: Senegal, Zambia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Tunisia, and Italy.
It is a project born in the heart of Ballarò, in Palermo, that brings together people, cultures, and ideas to build a more inclusive and sustainable future.
We are a social enterprise, a restaurant, a coworking space—and much more: a living laboratory of coexistence, where diversity is a core value and every encounter is an opportunity.
Every day, we work to create a concrete model of integration, where food, work, and human connection become tools for change. We believe in an economy that puts human dignity at its core, that values people’s talents, and builds strong and inclusive communities. Moltivolti is made of stories, shared dreams, and identities that intertwine and enrich one another.
In 2018, Moltivolti equipped itself with an additional tool by establishing a Social Promotion Association (APS) to support its socio-educational activities and responsible tourism initiatives. The Moltivolti association shares the vision and objectives of the social enterprise, with a stronger focus on development cooperation through responsible tourism experiences; anti-racist social education; education on diversity; and informative sessions with school and university students on global inequalities, migration, reception, and services offered to the community.
