Community Services
Over the years, through listening and dialogue with the local area, the Moltivolti team has recognized the importance of activating targeted services to support the community.

In particular, Moltivolti APS provides the following services:

  • Support Desk for Associations

After several informal mentoring experiences, we launched a help desk to assist young people and adults interested in starting an association.

Based on an analysis of training needs, we offer free courses and conferences on essential topics, including:

  • Association management and administration
  • Budget creation and management
  • Organization of collective actions
  • Project cycle management
  • Fundraising and financing

    and more.

Our goal is to create connections and provide concrete support to those facing difficult situations, by valuing and connecting local resources and uncovering talents.

Activities with Schools
Throughout the year, we welcome school groups of all ages and levels to explore our community, the neighborhood, and the stories of the people who live and work at Moltivolti.
These visits are an opportunity to deepen understanding of key topics for our community:

  • Migration and the right to mobility
  • Inequalities and privilege
  • European policies and their impact on migrants
  • Good practices in hospitality in Palermo

An experience of cultures and flavors: during the school visits, students can taste our international cuisine and listen to the stories of those who prepare it and live it every day.
We have also developed an intercultural program that brings together local students and newly arrived youth, facilitating a process of mutual understanding. The program encourages the exchange of information about their countries of origin, the exploration and deconstruction of stereotypes and prejudices, and the creation of a dialogue in which all individuals are granted equal dignity and recognition. It is a space where every linguistic, cultural, and value-based heritage is given room for expression.

Activities in collaboration with the “Malaspina” Juvenile Detention Center
For about a year, Moltivolti has been running “world cuisine” and intercultural workshops inside the Malaspina juvenile prison. We also host internship experiences for minors referred by the U.S.S.M. (Juvenile Social Services Office).

Social Project Development Department

Moltivolti Social Enterprise, together with Moltivolti APS, manages a national and international social design department, developing projects and initiatives in the local area and connecting the international dimension with the local one, with the aim of expanding intervention practices and methodologies.
