Moltivolti APS is the operational branch of Moltivolti Impresa Sociale that supports the organization’s activities, with a particular focus on the social, educational, and cultural initiatives carried out at the Camera a Sud.

As a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-denominational association, Moltivolti APS promotes inclusion, active citizenship, and civil rights, fostering the development of solid and aware communities, valuing diversity, and combating stereotypes and racism in all its forms.

The association’s activities include:

  • antiracist programs for young people;
  • intercultural workshops involving youth with migrant and local backgrounds;
  • training courses on diversity management for reception staff and companies;
  • Italian language courses and digital skills training;
  • career orientation;
  • musical activities within the Palermo juvenile detention center;
  • global citizenship initiatives through responsible tourism, intercultural exchanges, and community-based learning.

Moltivolti APS relies on an international staff trained in inclusion, antiracist education, and diversity management. It supports the training of young people, teachers, and social operators, with particular attention to developing intercultural and transversal skills. It also provides consultancy for the creation of associations and community-oriented guidance services.

The activities engage a variety of groups: migrant youth, asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, Italian students, and young people under the juvenile justice system. The association also supports professionals working in reception — social workers, psychologists, teachers, and educators — and strengthens the capacities of small Italian and foreign youth associations through capacity-building activities, promoting inclusion, active citizenship, and intercultural collaboration between communities.

Diversify – Unpacking Antiracist Education is a project by Moltivolti APS, carried out in collaboration with the Gambian Association in Palermo and Giocherenda, which promotes active, intercultural, and antiracist citizenship. The initiative aims to strengthen the intercultural competencies of young people, educators, and communities, foster inclusive and just environments, and support the fight against racism and discrimination in schools, reception centers, and the juvenile justice system.

The project, which started on December 1, 2026 and will run until September 30, 2027, is funded by ASF – Avocats sans frontières, through a cascading grant from the DEAR program, TACKLE project.
It involves local and newly arrived youth, social workers, teachers, and juvenile detention staff, aiming to indirectly reach the wider community through public initiatives and online campaigns.

Main project activities:

  • Circular Reflections on the World: interactive educational meetings on racism, discrimination, global inequalities, and the right to safe mobility.
  • Training on Antiracism and Diversity Management: 4 training cycles for teachers, educators, social workers, community leaders, and juvenile detention staff.
  • Digital Antiracist Education Toolkit: a collection of methodologies, best practices, and educational activities designed for youth workers and educators.
  • Intercultural Active Participation Workshops: 4 cycles of participatory workshops for local and newly arrived youth, aimed at promoting dialogue, critical thinking, and intercultural skills.
  • Antiracist Football Tournament: mixed-team tournament promoting fair play, inclusion, and antiracism through sport.
  • Collective Actions: 4 youth co-designed initiatives, including volunteering, intercultural events, and public assemblies.
  • Online Campaign “Decolonizing Antiracism”: youth-led antiracist campaign with a final public event in Palermo.
  • Musical Activities in Juvenile Detention Contexts: drumming and rap sessions designed to encourage expression, collaboration, and intercultural dialogue.

Through these activities, Diversify promotes emancipatory skills, intercultural dialogue, and responsible citizenship, transforming youth participation into concrete action within the community.
